海老根 剛
博士（文学）
2005年4月より大阪市立大学大学院文学研究科・文学部（表現文化コース）専任講師、2008年4月より准教授。
1998年3月、東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科欧米系文化研究専攻（ドイツ語・ドイツ文学）修士課程修了。1997年4月－2000年9月、季刊映画批評誌『カイエ・デュ・シネマ・ジャポン』（フランスの映画批評誌『カイエ・デュ・シネマ』の日本語版、勁草書房刊）の編集委員を務める。2000年9月まで日本学術振興会特別研究員（DC2）。2000年10月よりDAAD（ドイツ学術交流会）による給費を受けベルリン・フンボルト大学文化・芸術学研究所文化学ゼミナール〔現在は文化学研究所に改組〕（Institut für Kulturwissenschaft）に留学。2003年4月帰国。2005年3月、東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科欧米系文化研究専攻（ドイツ語・ドイツ文学）博士課程単位取得退学。2008年4月東京大学にて博士（文学）の学位取得。
大阪市在住。

Associate Professor at the department of Culture as Representation of the Graduate School of Literature and Human Sciences, Osaka City University in Osaka, Japan.
Current research interests: history of discourse on the masses (Massendiskurs) in Germany from 1900 to 1945, cultural history of labor, body, and technology in Germany and Japan during the 20th Century, and theory of visual media culture (cinema, video, and computer).
